The story has alien beings comming to Earth and turning humans into biomechanoid fighting machines to fight each other for sport. It's an entertaining one for sure. It kinda feels like Tetsuo, only slimier. The special effects brought me way back to the 80's at parts, but then it would seem like a more recent film at others. and don't let my earlier comparison to "The Iron Man" lead you to think it has a great amount of intended societal comentary. No themes of isolation or industrialization here. Just good ol' shock and splatter. Still, I'd say it's worth watching just to see how far the battles go between the creature things. Once things get going, it seems to get perpetually more over the top
