Kaori has long had a habit of suddenly saying words that hurt other people and this causes her to be bullied. One day she escapes from her classroom and sits on a bench in Kaminokami Park. She asks God to allow her to convey her feelings honestly, when suddenly a leaf falls from the cherry tree above her. "What's your name?" is written upon it. The words were written by a girl named Saki who cannot speak. Kaori and Saki meet every day and gradually become friends. Saki teaches Kaori how to make friends and when Kaori makes new friends at school, she stops seeing Saki.
